Program Director, Economic Justice and Community Power

Treye Johnson is the Foundation’s program director for Economic Justice and Community Power. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2021, Treye worked at the Reserve Bank of Cleveland as program manager for the Program on Economic Inclusion. Additionally, he had served as regional outreach manager in the community development department. Treye has also previously worked in philanthropy as a program officer at the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and a fellow with the George Gund Foundation.

 

Treye is currently a board member for the Funders Network and the Fund for Our Economic Future. Moreover, he is co-chair of the Cuyahoga County Workforce Funders Group. His other civic engagements also include the South Euclid Lyndhurst SeaMonkeys Swim Team and the St. Dominic Bulldog Athletic Club. Treye received a M.S. in sport administration from the University of Louisville, and an B.A. in communications from John Carroll University.
