Emily Lundgard is the Foundation’s director of strategy. Prior to joining the Foundation, Emily was a senior program director at Enterprise Community Partners where she led state and local policy efforts and the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition. Emily also spent years in public service as the Cuyahoga County director of communications, Cuyahoga County special assistant for regional collaboration, Ohio Department of Development legislative liaison, and Legislative Service Commission fellow.
Emily has a deep commitment to community and service that can best be described by this quote from Ms. Shirley Chisholm, “Service is the rent we pay for room on this earth.” Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Emily now resides on the near west side of Cleveland and serves on the board of trustees for Ohio City Incorporated and advisory board for Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services. She is a two-time alumna from Ohio University, having received both her B.A. and M.P.A from that institution.
