Alyssa Johnson

Alyssa Johnson is the 2021–2023 George Gund Foundation Fellow, working across program areas. Johnson is a former coordinator of service and outreach for student activities at The Ohio State University, where she oversaw community service and civic engagement programming and outreach initiatives within the city of Columbus and the state of Ohio.

Johnson previously served two years with AmeriCorps NCCC based in Denver, where she worked across disaster recovery, infrastructure improvement, environmental stewardship, youth development, and food insecurity throughout the Southwest. Johnson has a keen interest in civic activism and also enjoys exploring Ohio’s outdoor spaces. She received her Bachelor of Arts in history from Otterbein University.
